Born in Venezuela and raised in Germany, "Bernardo" felt very much at home in the Canary Islands, "halfway" between these two countries, when he relocated here in 1982, as a manager in the tourism industry.
His career in film production started in the early nineties as advisor, location scout and later production co-ordinator for German TV movie productions (Behrengar Pfahl Film, Studio Hamburg, NDF and others) and music videos.
Established as a self-employed production coordinator he co-operated with all major production companies on the Canary Islands on numerous productions and also worked in Germany and Turkey.
With his extensive knowledge of all the islands he has contributed to finding locations for commercial film and photo productions for top brands such as VW, Smart, Fanta, Porsche, Renault and many others.
Now living on the island of Fuerteventura, it seems logical that he has become FilmCanaryIslands "production outpost" for the easternmost islands of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.
