October 2011 -Bid Time Return - Short Film - Director: Jon Sorensen

Jon Sorensen made friends with us through Facebook earlier this year... he was looking for a location to shoot his short film "Bid Time Return" and was considering the USA, but was looking for a fresh alternative for his Sci-Fi story. We agreed to come on-board and help realise his film in Tenerife

The film is set at the end of time.. time is going backwards and young Tikki has progeria, the disease that "ages" young children. The story follows the last hours that a family will spend together, before Barbara (Carla Sanchez) and Ivan (Gadi Cimand) send their daughter, Tikki (Erin Alonso) through a portal that they hope will take her to a new and better world.

The film was shot over 5 days in Teide National Park and on the coast of east Tenerife on our RED ONE MX by FilmCanaryIslands DoP, Andy McLeod. 

Tikki's progeria make-up was created by SFX team, Nicole Klein & John Coppinger, also known for their work on many extraordinary movies including Star Wars and The Fifth Element. Every day 10 year old actress, Erin Alonso, had to endure 4 hours of intense SFX make-up, before appearing on set!

We wish Jon every success with this very personal project, and we are all very proud to have been a part of his film.
