Fuerteventura is the closest Canarian Island to the African coast with only 100km separating the 'Punta de la Entallada' from Cape Juby in Morroco, and is the second largest of the islands, after Tenerife.

The island is celebrated for its spectacular beaches of white sand and there are no fewer than 152 of them, totaling some 50km in length. The sand dunes at Corralejo are another exceptional location.

All types of water sports are practiced here.

Fuerteventura is accessible by air from most major European cities as well as internal flights from the other Canary Islands. Heavy equipment can be transported by ferries either directly from Tenerife or via Gran Canaria.

Location Highlights:

  • Desert and sand dunes
  • Desert roads
  • Yellow and white sand beaches
  • Good airport shooting options
  • Camels available
  • Water sports
